What a Hair Salon or Beauty Salon Website Needs to Fill Your Diary
The pages and features a salon or barber website needs in 2026, from online booking and prices to Instagram and Google Maps, so more visitors book.
Most people find a new salon or barber on their phone. They search, look at a few photos, check the prices and reviews, and book, often late at night when you’re closed. Your website’s job is to make that as easy as possible.
1. A Book Now button on every page
This is the most important thing. Put a clear Book Now button at the top of every page, and make it stick to the screen on phones. It should go straight to your booking system, ideally with the right service already chosen.
If someone has to hunt for how to book, many will give up and book somewhere else.
2. Your prices
People want to know what they’ll pay. A clear price list builds trust and saves you answering the same question in DMs all day.
- List each service with a price or a “from” price
- Group them simply: cuts, colour, treatments, packages
- Say how long each appointment takes
3. Photos of your real work
Stock photos of models don’t help. Show your own work: before and afters, finished styles, your chairs and your space. Photos should be bright, sharp and taken in good light. Update them regularly.
4. Your team
Many clients book a person, not a salon. A short section for each stylist or therapist with their photo, specialities and a link to book with them directly works well.
5. Location, hours and how to find you
Make it easy:
- Full address with a map
- Opening hours, including late nights
- Nearest station, bus stops or parking
- Accessibility information
Make sure these details match your Google Business Profile exactly.
6. Reviews
Show a few recent reviews from Google or your booking platform, close to the Book Now button. Our guide to getting more Google reviews has text templates you can use.
7. Instagram, linked properly
Instagram is often where salons get noticed. Link to it from your website, and link back from your Instagram bio to your booking page. Some salons show their latest posts on the site, which keeps it feeling fresh. Just make sure it doesn’t slow the page down.
8. Pages for each main service
A page for each main service, like balayage, men’s cuts, nails or brows, helps you show up when people search for that service near them. Each page should say what’s involved, how long it takes, the price and who does it.
A simple salon website layout
| Page | What goes on it |
|---|---|
| Home | One line on who you are and where, Book Now, photos, reviews |
| Services and prices | Full price list with booking links |
| Service pages | One for each main service |
| Team | Each stylist with photo and booking link |
| Find us | Map, hours, transport and parking |
| Gift vouchers | If you sell them, an easy way to buy |
Reduce no-shows
A full diary isn’t much use if people don’t turn up. Turn on automatic reminders in your booking system, and consider deposits for long appointments. Put your cancellation policy on your website so it’s clear upfront.
Get found locally
Your website works best alongside a strong Google Business Profile with photos, services, hours and reviews. When someone searches “hair salon near me”, that’s what Google shows first.
